Houston, TX — This evening, Armando Walle was decisively re-elected as the State Representative for House District 140. First elected in 2008, Rep. Walle will be serving his tenth term representing HD 140.
Rep. Armando Walle (D-Houston) issued the following statement:
“It has been the honor of my life to serve the people of House District 140. I am humbled by voters’ confidence in me, and am excited to continue working for North Houston and Harris County in the State Legislature.
“I am so proud of the hard work we did together to organize and mobilize voters across the district over these past few months. We had dozens of neighbors volunteer their time to knock on doors and make phone calls to get out the vote. Because of our joint efforts, we not only organized our community for my race, but increased turnout for elections up and down the ballot.
“Thank you to everyone who voted to send me back to the Capitol so that I can serve you.”
