State Rep. Armando Walle Files to Run for 10th Term Serving House District 140

Houston, TX — This month, State Rep. Armando Walle declared his candidacy and filed to run for office in House District 140 with the Harris County Democratic Party. First elected in 2008, Rep. Walle is running to serve HD 140 for a tenth term.

Rep. Armando Walle (D-Houston) issued the following statement:

“It is the honor of a lifetime to serve the people of House District 140. I am excited and humbled to once again ask my neighbors to support my candidacy so I may continue fighting hard for North Houston, Harris County and all Texans at the State Capitol in Austin.

“I consider it my duty as state representative to give everything I can back to the community that has given me so much. This community raised me. It gave me everything, my education, job, and family. It’s the only home I’ve ever known.

“Over my nearly two decades of public service, I have used my legislative experience to bring hundreds of millions of dollars directly into House District 140 for local flood infrastructure, water line, road and parks projects. I’ve never shied from a fight when my community is under attack. I work directly with neighbors to hold bad actors in the district accountable.

“But there is so much more work left to do, and I am ready to run.”
